Despite the seemingly obvious repercussions of messing with an elephant, it still happens that every so often some smart-arse decides he’d like to attempt to gingerly edge his vehicle past a large bull-elephant, only to be vividly, and sometimes horrifically, reminded that 2 tons of rental car is no match for 5 tons of irritated pachyderm.
If you cross paths with an elephant, give it the right of way, even if you’re in a hurry.
